ProVault Pro-225

JUGM here and I wanted to do a short review on a recent purchase. Senior and I talk about some of our purchases all the time on blogger and no we do not get any sort of freebies from the companies. When we find a product that we like and is useful and durable we like to share it with you all.

This is the ProVault 225 portable safe with fingerprint swipe technology. I love this thing, it allows me to keep my handgun readily available but still secure.

It is bigger and heavier then it looks but fits nicely on a bedside night stand. I like the swipe feature as you don't need to learn a combination. This could come in handy if you are in a home invasion situation as all you need to do is swipe a finger and boom it opens.

This safe is also roomy enough inside to hold your firearm but also some ammo and etc..  And the best part is its portable, and battery powered. So no need to have it plugged in. Works great around the house, in the office or even a car if you can find a good spot for it.

As a stay at home mom with kids that are nearing their teenage years, they are getting curious and keeping my handgun secured is important and also the responsible thing to do. Cost wise it was probably in the middle, there are lower priced ones as well as higher priced ones, but ProVault is a brand of Liberty and we have always been pleased with their products which is why we chose this model. And its why I recommend it to you all.

  2. If I had small children that would be just the ticket. With mine grown and gone, I just keep a pistol on the nightstand. I have a few others in strategic places around the buildings. When my kids were small I had to keep all my guns in the big safes, and I knew I might not be able to get down there and get one if I needed it in a hurry. But there were no alternatives like this safe, back then.

  3. Bey Harry- as our boys continue to learn to shoot their curiosity grows. And this is just another way to keep firearms safe. My dad or grandparents mever secured their guns we just knew ot to touch and yes our boys know thst as well. I just fear the day though that they may have a friend over and want to show off.

  4. Senior and Glock Mom,
Now talk about a handy safe. It's not 1000 plus pounds and can be used any where. I could see using this safe in the RV.

Sending hugs and love to y'all.
